	President Reid announces retirement following more than 12 years of leading Williamson. Donations totaling $45 million from Henry M. and Lee Rowan and H. Fitzgerald and Marguerite Lenfest secure Williamson's future. Williamson celebrates completion of the largest Campaign in School history.

	Football – Two horrendous calls that both went against Williamson, the last of which led to Widener’s winning touchdown, doomed the Mechanics to defeat as they fell to 1-2 on the year. Cross Country finished 16 overall out of 22 teams and managed to finish ahead of the only other 2 junior colleges in the Belmont Classic this past weekend.
